| SPYBA Philosophy of Operation |
| The Stevens Point Yout Baseball Association (SPYBA) is a recreation and travel league open to all boys and girls within the age limits determined by the
National Babe Ruth Association
living in the Stevens Point area. The primary objective of our leagues is to promote the fun and fair play of baseball. Fundamental skills, safety, sportsmanship, teamwork and honesty are emphasized at every level of play. Winning is not emphasized in our recreational leagues. Opportunities for more competitive play are offered via our Tournament Teams. Coaches, umpires, and parents should all act as role models and understand the importance of participation in youth baseball. |
